Canada to ban entry of international students to Ontario province to combat Covid surge.
It was announced April 30th 2021 that in an effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 throughout the province, Canada is looking into further travel restrictions for international students traveling to study at Ontario schools.
While it’s expected that restrictions are forthcoming, at this time it is unknown what they will be or when they will be implemented. We will advise our students when more information is released by the Government of Canada.
To help stop the spread of COVID-19, Ontario has been ramping up vaccinations in recent weeks. It’s projected that all adults over 18 in Ontario will be eligible for the vaccine by the end of next month.
